I have had the pleasure of training with Jeff Holden for over 18 months. After not excercising in over 10 years, I began working with Jeff to improve my strength, fitness and lose weight. Jeff’s one on one personal training was perfect for my needs, focusing on my technique to prevent injury, pushing me to my limits where I would normally have stopped in the past and regularly changing the program which kept me motivated! I started training with Jeff about 6 months ago, I have always shied away from big gyms as I find them very confronting and in your face. My first impression training at muscle in was one that made me feel relaxed, I didn’t feel nervous and was made to feel at ease straight away. Having just a room to yourself and a one on one trainer meant that I was more focused on achieving my goals. Jeff developed a program for me that suited who I was as a person and my lifestyle. In the last six month Jeff has given me the tools that I need to achieve my goal weight I am now working towards competing in the gold coast 10km marathon this year.

In 2008 I discovered Musclein Personal Training. I was very lean and had no real body mass. I was a member at my local gym but found it very hard to train by myself not knowing what I needed to do, or how to do it right. Jeff helped me build my fitness level and increase my strength. Once I had accomplished that I thought it was time I started to feel I needed to gain body mass. Jeff assisted me in gaining muscle weight, and actual muscle’s! I have been a member of a local gym for the past five years and have been keen about sport since primary school. When I first started at the gym, my body shape changed dramatically, however the past 12 -18 months have seen no change even though I visit the gym 4 to 5 times a week. In fact I was starting to put on weight again and become very unmotivated with my training.
I decided that I needed to see someone about changing my body shape and just a general refresher about what I wanted to achieve out of my gym work. Jeff Holden gave me the motivation and encouragement to push myself a little harder to achieve the desired results. I found his exercises to be really exciting and fun and easy to do both at the gym and at home rather than restricting myself to one place. He has a 'can-do' attitude that helps you push yourself to achieve any exercise he gives you.
After completing five 1 hour personal training sessions with Jeff along with my usual weight training program he set out, which included a lot of the new exercises, I noticed a great change in my body shape and muscle tone. I have lost about three kilograms in a short amount of time without changing my diet greatly and by changing the actual exercises I was doing. By seeing Jeff 1 hour, 2-3 times a week, it is far better then visiting the gym for 2 hours 4-5 times a week.
I have been getting a huge amount of compliments from friends and people at the gym saying that they have noticed a huge change in the way I look. I can thoroughly recommend Jeff for any goal you want to achieve whether it would be weight loss, increase in fitness levels or bluk up. I have never felt so good about myself and I owe it all to Jeff's knowledge and enthusiasm, and he is always the first one to say I have done a great job.

I recently completed 15 x 1 hour personal training sessions with Jeff. I have always been a classic "one day" fitness person. One day I will get fit, one day I will lose weight. So one day I visited Jeff.
During the time I worked with Jeff I lost 4 kilos, my flexibility improved, I began to tone up and I have finally begun to fit into those clothes sitting in my wardrobe that I could never throw out because I would one day fit into them. While these things have been great most importantly Jeff taught me the correct way to use the equipment at the gym and how to continue improving my fitness. As I do live 2 hours away from Jeff's studio I still travelled that distance for my 15 sessions, BOY WAS IT WORTH IT.! Jeff always managed to make the sessions enjoyable and continually reinforced that he could show me and assist me to improve my fitness but in the end it is up to me to make the commitment. Jeff will not provide you with a miracle but he will show you how to get the most out of your fitness and how to reach the goals you have set for yourself.
